Sustainability
Progress for Success
Welcome to PR ROMAN FORUM
It is a great honor for me, as the initiator of this initiative—supported not only by the World Innovation and Change Management Institute, but also by global and national organizations who understand that together we can always achieve more when we share knowledge and experience.
This event will bring together invited, established leaders in their fields of expertise and knowledge, who will share their reflections and experiences and contribute globally to the community within their areas of work through key messages and presentations.
The format of the event is semi-closed, as this is not a conference but a FORUM—designed to open dialogue among a smaller number of participants, allowing them to connect and engage more closely in a shared conversation. The central moment of PR ROMAN FORUM is the signing of the Roman Declaration on Green Communication Responsibility.
The Declaration will be publicly available, and all organizations that understand the responsibility of transparency will be able to access the signing procedure.
Danijel Koletić
President of the Organizing Committee
Secretary General, WICMI
We are witnessing global changes that are impacting the planet Earth. Every individual, and especially organizations, regardless of whether they are corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, or non-profit organizations (NGOs), must understand sustainable development and get involved to contribute to it together and by their capabilities.
Representatives of the communication industry, including the media, have one of the biggest responsibilities for understanding, educating, and raising public awareness. Sustainable development is based on several elements. Communicating “green” sends a message about sustainability, about human coexistence on planet Earth, and the very beginnings of sustainability go far back in history into sustainable heritage.
This is exactly why we want to give importance to the place of centuries-old history, culture, and tradition in Rome because many before us in Rome and some other civilizations laid the foundations of sustainable development.
We divided communication in Rome into two thematic areas, “Green communication, green responsibility” and “Sustainable heritage”. We want to see how sustainability can help each of us. We want to share the knowledge and thoughts of communication experts, and media representatives so that together they can inspire sustainable development through stories from practice. Together we can do more, so I invite you to be a part of this event, to be a part of communication innovation and creativity. Welcome to Rome. Welcome to the “Green communications, green responsibility, ESG, Sustainable heritage” conference.
